Nothing could be finer than sitting at one of Pier 23's big round patio tables on a sun-drenched afternoon, the whole sweep of the bay in front of you and an icy margarita at your elbow. Fried oysters, peel-and-eat prawns, cracked crab, and an excellent hamburger are the menu's mainstays, and daily specials might include cioppino, roast pork carnitas, a blackened snapper po' boy, or grilled swordfish with capers.
